I’m a one-woman show with a strong passion for pet care. My mission is to teach new and veteran owners all the tips and tricks they’ve been searching for.
Driven by passion
My journey has been nothing but ordinary. As a child, I was dead-set on becoming a veterinarian or working as an Animal Educator. Due to my family’s financial situation in my early years, I decided that even though I wouldn’t achieve my original goal, I’d still work with animals in some form. Growing up, my family owned many different species of animals—Dogs, Cats, Fish, Reptiles, Rodents, Invertebrates, Birds, etc. To scratch the surface. I began volunteering with my step-mom as a dog-grooming assistant at age 12, and from then on, my love of pet care grew into many other roles in the field. My first official job in pet care was for a local shelter. As rewarding as the work was, it was extremely physically and mentally taxing. I then decided to pursue a full-time career in pet grooming. I received my certification through Penn Foster in July 2024. From there, I worked for a local salon and absolutely fell in love. I now work for a high-end pet hotel and have never been happier. Even though I’m right where I want to be, I still feel like I could never fill the void of wanting to educate pet parents. I’ve seen dogs and cats in the worst condition possible, at the fault of owners not being given the proper guidance upon adopting their pet. I have wanted to provide people with access to all the information I’ve learned with science and credible sources to back it all up, and wrap it into one package for so long, and I’m incredibly proud to give everyone the ability to level up in the rollercoaster of owning pets.
